BERNARDO SILVA headed to the races as he looked to relax ahead of Manchester City’s title-decider this weekend.
The Portuguese playmaker, 26, enjoyed his day off at the horse-racing but knows there’s everything to play for on Sunday.
Man City travel to Brighton on the final day of the season looking to win their first-ever back-to-back Premier League crowns.
But Silva is not allowing complacency to creep in, saying he knows City are in for a tricky game on the south coast.
Silva revealed: “We know we have to go and win the final game, and we have to do something we have never done with this club: win two league title in a row.
“It will be a difficult game away, we are not expecting an easy game. They are physical, but we know we need the three points.
VINSANITY
“The dressing room is fantastic, the fans are with us, the atmosphere is great, we want to win these last few games to win the title.”
Looking back at the crucial win over Leicester on Monday night, Silva added: “It was a very intense game, very emotional.
“We knew we had to get the three points. To win it with Vincent [Kompany’s] goal was unbelievable.”
Pep Guardiola’s City sit just one point ahead of Liverpool going into the final game of the season.
While the Etihad side travel to Brighton, Liverpool host Wolves – with both teams knowing only a win will do.
City got the better of the Seagulls on home soil, winning 2-0 – but will have to fight against nerves in the reverse fixture.
The game kicks-off at 3pm on Sunday May 12.
