The woman said how disappointed she is the UK isn’t leaving the EU today. She explained the vote was democratic and people knew what they were voting for. She said: “We did know what we voted for when we voted to leave in 2016.
Her comments received applause from the Sheffield audience.
The show, which was broadcast in Sheffield this week, primarily focused on who is to blame for the Brexit delay.
The audience unanimously agreed the Prime Minister was at fault.
Host Fiona Bruce quizzed Damian Hinds MP on Friday’s Brexit vote.
He said: “It is a vote on the withdrawal agreement.
“What we will vote on tomorrow will be materially different.
“If we pass a deal tomorrow it will mean we can leave the EU on May 22 giving us enough time to pass the various bits of legislation that need to happen before that time.
“It also means we don’t have to take part in European parliament elections which I think is very important.”
