Bare necessities! Bebe Rexha reveals she likes to walk around house ‘in bra and underwear’

The Say My Name songstress has been a long-time advocate for body positivity and has a few tricks up her sleeves for feeling good in the buff.

Bebe Rexha spoke with US magazine Health this month about her relationship with her body and spilt the beans on her personal diet and exercise habits.

In the interview, the 29-year-old revealed that she walks around the house in her undies in an effort to feel more at ease in her own skin.

She said: “Ever since I was little, I’ve been thicker.

“I went through a point of really not liking myself, and I still have my moments — but I just started trying to be nice to myself and doing things every day.”

Before she admitted: “I walk around the house in just underwear and a bra.”

The singer also spoke about her relationship with food, confessing that she refuses to deprive herself, and instead likes to eat things in moderation.

“My ultimate lunch: I’ll order a salad with chicken and no croutons and a side of sweet potato fries,” she said.

“That’s my balance.”

Bebe then chatted about the different ways she likes to break into a sweat, regularly practising yoga and boxing with her personal trainer.

The pop starlet made headlines last year when she called out dressers at the Grammys for their cruel attitude towards women and different body types.

She claimed that because she wore a US size eight – a UK size 12 – several designers refused to dress her, as they thought her too big for their clothing.

In a heartfelt Instagram video, she slammed the body shamers, refusing to apologise for her curvaceous physique.

On top of that, earlier this year, the New Yorker made waves when she bravely opened up about her battle with bipolar disorder.

The singer’s honest approach to mental health and body image are one of the many reasons her profile continues to skyrocket, as her new single Last Hurrah steadily climbs up the charts.
