Barcelona are still in negotiations with PSG to sign Neymar.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo journalist Francesc Aguilar, who claims the two parties still haven’t reached a financial agreement.
The French champions have accepted Neymar’s wish to leave this summer – but Barcelona are struggling to meet their £200m valuation.
“The Neymar theme remains the same. A lot of smoke on both sides,” Aguilar tweeted. “Barca continues to work, without rest, to sign him and the PSG to transfer him. But they don’t find the agreement. The economic issue is what separates them.”

PSG have confirmed that Neymar has not travelled with the squad for their pre-season friendly against Sydney FC in Suzhou.
The Brazilian international will instead remain at PSG’s base in Shenzhen along with defender Presnel Kimpembe to work on their fitness.
Barcelona’s president Josep Maria Bartomeu refused to discuss a potential move for the Brazilian.
“In the summer I am reading a lot of newspapers about Neymar, but in the end, you know as a club we have a lot of respect for Paris St Germain and Neymar is a player for Paris St Germain and there is nothing else to talk,” Bartomeu said.
Man Utd offer
Barcelona are showing interest in Manchester United outcast Matteo Darmian.
The 29-year-old has entered the final year of his contract at Old Trafford – meaning Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side could lose him on a free transfer next year.
However, a solution could be on the horizon.
According to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are looking for a versatile defender and could sign Darmian for as little as £9million.
