Barcelona plotting £20million raid for Arsenal defender

Barcelona have identified Arsenal defender Sead Kolasinac as a potential transfer target this summer, according to reports in Spain.

The La Liga champions are looking to improve their defence in the coming months and want to bring in a left-back to provide competition for Spain international Jordi Alba.

And Mundo Deportivo report that Catalan club have included the Gunners defender on their shortlist of potential options.

The 25-year-old, who joined the north London club from Schalke in 2017, made 36 appearances in all competitions last season.

Twenty-four of those came in the Premier League, where he also provided five assists as Unai Emery’s side finished fifth and missed out on a place in next season’s Champions League.
