Preheat your oven and don your best apron – a dozen more budding baking hopefuls enter the tent tonight to compete in the Great British Bake Off (GBBO) 2021.
With 12 amateur bakers all fighting for a coveted Hollywood handshake, the contestants will have to take some whisks to prove that they are the crème de la crème.
This series welcomes the show’s first-ever vegan contestant, Freya Cox – that’s right, GBBO has never had one like herbivore.
As ever, Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood will be judging the carby confectionary, while Little Britain’s Matt Lucas and Mighty Boosh’s Noel Fielding return as hilarious hosts.
The new GBBO series kicks off with cake week (what else?) as the bakers demonstrate they know their angel food from their devil’s chocolate.
