If there was a Bafta for the best dressed couple of the night it would definitely go to Jodie Turner-Smith and her husband Joshua Jackson.
The ridiculously stunning couple walked the red carpet at the Baftas in London on Sunday night looking like showbiz royalty.
Jodie, who is pregnant with the couple’s first child together, looked sensational in a striking yellow gown.
The head-turning garment was a halter-neck dress that had an over-sized bow at the back of her neck, with a very deep, scooped neckline revealing her cleavage.
Its sequinned bodice elegantly transformed into a wide skirt that flowed over her growing baby bump and down to the floor.
With such an incredible gown there was no need for the Queen and Slim star to go overboard with accessories, and she opted simply for a gold ring in her septum piercing.
Her hair was neck-length and wavy for the occasion and she was all smiles on the red carpet next to her man.
Joshua went for a classic tuxedo for the Baftas, where Jodie, 33, also presented an award.
The mum-to-be has been nailing her maternity wear recently, as this bright pink mini dress from earlier this month shows.
The actress revealed that she and Joshua, 41, are considering raising their baby somewhere other than the USA because of the ‘racial dynamics’ in America.
She told the Sunday Times: ‘The racial dynamics over here are fraught. White supremacy is overt. It’s the reason I don’t want to raise my kids here.
‘I don’t want my kids to grow up doing active shooter drills at school.’
Jodie added that her native England is also off the list, explaining: ‘England has gone off the rails, so I was thinking maybe Canada.’
Speaking frankly about the prejudice she has experience, she went on: ‘There was this wave of people who were upset that I was possibly married to a white man.
‘In America, interracial dating or marriage is not something that is as accepted. Certain people feel strongly against it, in both communities.
‘I felt it from the black community. It is so complicated. I don’t want to give it too much energy. The horrific things that people were saying, it makes you… I’m learning there are certain things I have to really keep for myself.’
The couple have not officially confirmed – or denied – whether they tied the knot last year.
