Bachelor star Cassandra Wood is currently recovering from emergency surgery after a terrifying health scare.
The 24-year-old took to Instagram on Monday to reveal she’d just enjoyed her ‘first outing’ after being rushed to hospital back in June.
Following weeks of return trips over what was previously an ‘unknown issue’, Cassandra was finally diagnosed with appendicitis this month, and her appendix was immediately removed.

‘Finally back at home after being in hospital for some time,’ Cassandra wrote.
‘Last week I was in hospital for a different reason, and returned back last Wednesday due to the pain I had getting worse.
‘Turns out I had appendicitis and had immediate surgery. The road to recovery now.’

When asked about the confusion surrounding her health scare on Monday night, the popular reality personality offered a simpler answer to one fan.
‘Found out I had appendicitis and had surgery to remove my appendix,’ she wrote.
In her Instagram Story response, Cassandra attached a picture of her legs in compression bandages while recovering from the procedure in her hospital bed.
