Awesome Games Done Quick 2020 is underway – PCGamesN

Videogames can sometimes make us feel weird and sad, so we always look forward to AGDQ – it’s a heartwarming and fascinating event held to raise money for various charitable foundations, and it features some of the most amazing gameplay of both new and classic games alike. AGDQ 2020 is now underway, and this year’s event kicked off with a special 10 year anniversary retrospective, featuring some of the best and funniest moments captured on stream during the annual event.

The event can be viewed over on GDQ’s Twitch channel, or you can tune in below. The event this year begins with an any% run through A Hat in Time, and you’ll also be able to watch a speedrun of Destiny 2’s Last Wish raid, which speedrunners say they plan on completing in less than 30 minutes.

This year’s AGDQ will be collecting donations to benefit the Prevent Cancer Foundation. It’s a non-profit organisation based in Alexandria, Virginia, that’s dedicated to research and development into the early detection and prevention of cancer.

You can tune into the stream right here, or by clicking this link to GDQ’s Twitch channel.

In addition to some of the classics, you’ll also be able to tune into some new speedruns, including a blistering race through The Outer Worlds and a speedrun of Remedy’s Control. Also new to GDQ this year will be an entire block of speedruns of the original Myst series.

As our sister site The Loadout notes, you also may want to check out the speedrun of Guitar Hero clone Clone Hero, which sounds like it’ll be a blast to watch.

Head to Games Done Quick’s official page if you’d like to make a donation or bid on a particular bonus run – those will be opportunities that pop up throughout the week and provide the chance to see some additional nutty speedrunning.
