Avoid forking out for tanning treats with these summer glowing deals — plus win £50k in The Sun Raffle

WE all know we need to keep our skin safe when we are sunbathing.

But you don’t need to bake yourself in the heatwave to get a sunkissed summer glow.

There are plenty of sunless tanners for every occasion — and there’s no “ray” that anyone need to know the difference.

Here are my favourite tanning treats that don’t cost the earth . . .

Clock this In a hurry? Don’t fret — a one-hour tanner can get you glowing in no time. Tanning experts St. Tropez sell a popular self tan express mousse for £33, but I love one hour tan dark mousse by Cocoa Brown, a snip of the cost at £7.99 at Superdrug.

Tan top-up If you prefer to let your tan build up in a more “natural” fashion (of if you’re scared of an extreme change overnight) you need to a gradual tanner. I find that NKD SKN gradual tan lotion works a treat — plus it’s on sale at Boohoo for £6, down from £15.

H2-glow If you’re not a fan of heavy formulas, or find blending a chore, the latest self-tanning waters are impressing bronzer fans everywhere.
Isle Of Paradise self tanning water, £18.95 at BeautyBay, is the brand on every beauty bloggers tongue — but you needn’t fork out to fake it in a splash. Superdrug’s Solait offer a cheap alternative for just £4.95 — it’s super moisturising and develops in one to four hours.
SAVING: £14

Wash not to like? If you fancy a glow in a jiffy, but don’t like the commitment of a full-on fake tan, opt for an instant, wash- off option.
I love Rimmel sunshimmer water resistant wash off instant tan, £3.50 at Wilko, down from £5.50 — a snip compared to Benefit’s cult hoola zero tanlines body bronze, £25.50. Plus, get £15 cashback on your Wilko shop, via topcashback.uk.
