Avengers: Chris Pratt, Tom Holland 'mocked and gave each other CRAP' on new movie for THIS

The two Hollywood stars finally crossed paths in Avengers Infinity War with some top banter between Star-Lord and Spider-Man. But now the loveable actors are teaming up again for Pixar’s Onward.

Set in a fantasy world that’s forgotten magic, Tom Holland plays Ian Lightfoot, a teenage elf, while Chris Pratt is older brother Barley.

The pair find themselves on a quest when they have just 24 hours to bring back their dead dad for one day – as the first spell only returned his legs.

This week Onward’s producer Kori Rae presented a press preview of the movie, where she opened up about casting the Marvel stars.

Plus the brotherly “crap” they gave each other in the one recording session they did together.

Rae added: “Man that’s Chris’ superpower because he can be all of that bigness and loud and crazy and then he’s all of that heart underneath.

“And it really comes through in his acting, so it was perfect.”

On their single recording session together she said: “Their schedules were impossible.

“We got them together just once, but it was fantastic.”

The Onward producer added: “It’s so funny because of course they know each other through working together [on Avengers Infinity War and Avengers Endgame] and they are brotherly in an interesting way.

“So it was really fun. They just kinda gave each other crap during the session.

“Tom would screw up and Chris would mock him for it and vice versa, so it was really, really fun. We got some great stuff out of the session.”

Onward is released in UK cinemas on March 6, 2020.
