Avengers 4 Endgame: Marvel boss WARNS fans they can't do THIS during Infinity War sequel

Fans are already excited to know the incredible runtime for the final film in the Marvel Cinematic Phases One to Three. Avengers 4 clocks in at a gigantic three hours and 58 seconds (to be precise). Incredibly, this is after some cuts were made, but Feige just confirmed that nothing else could be removed. Every moment is essential. Speaking at the start of the Avengers Endgame world press tour he just made things even more exciting.

According to CinemaBlend, Feige said: “What I’ve always said is a movie is as long as it should be. And we are not fans of overindulging movies. We are not fans of laborious lengths for no reason.

“We are fans of movies that you wish didn’t end. Movies that you want to see again as soon as it’s over. And movies that you just don’t ever find a good time to run out to the bathroom.

“That’s when a movie’s working. And if a movie doesn’t feel like that to us we continue to trim, we continue to shape, we continue to bring that time down. That happened to a certain extent on this movie.”

Feige added: “But we got to a point where it feels very exciting and goes by very quickly and in the end is the perfect length. And everybody that saw the movie felt the same way.”

Yes, every Avengers Endgame second of those three hours matters.

Fans are strongly advised to make any essential bathroom trips before the opening credits roll.

The original reported runtime was slightly longer at three hours and two minutes, but the Russos revealed how they made the final trim. What exactly did they have to remove?

Fans will be relieved to know that a little bit of ingenuity was all that was needed.

Anthony Russo cheekily revealed that all they had done was speed up the end credits.
