Audrina Patridge has asked for sole custody of her daughter amid a criminal investigation into her ex-husband, Corey Bohan.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, The Hills star is requesting custody of their daughter, Kirra, ‘until it is determined he has done nothing to harm our daughter’.
Audrina also recently filed a temporary restraining order against the BMX rider.
The temporary restraining order, which prevents Corey from being near both Audrina and 3-year-old Kira, has been put in place until a court hearing, which is due to take place later in July.
The 37-year-old has been ordered to stay 100 yards away from his ex-wife, and to keep away from Kira’s school and other locations of interest.
It was this restraining order that led to Corey requesting an emergency court hearing.
However, Audrina claims there is no real emergency, as an investigation has been launched which authorities are looking into.
The 34-year-old also believes that her ex-husband intends to infringe on his rights to the Fifth Amendment, whilst making false allegations about her and harming their child.
‘Rather than participate in the investigation, I am informed and believe [Bohan] intends to invoke his 5th Amendment privilege against self-incrimination while at the same time he levels false allegations at me,’ she stated.
She also admits that he should be interviewed by Family Court Services and the police if he truly is innocent.
‘The truth is, I have confirmed with our daughter’s paediatrician that she and Corey discussed our daughter’s diagnosis and he is misrepresenting his conversation.’
It was previously reported that Corey had also breached his custody agreement with his ex-wife whilst he looked after their daughter.
Corey had been looking after Kira on Independence Day, when he reportedly failed to drop her off to Audrina at their agreed time.
Audrina and Corey started dating in 2008, before getting married in 2016.
However, in 2017, Audrina filed for divorce, with the divorce being finalised in 2018.
However, the reality TV star recently admitted in an interview with People.com that she hopes to be friends with her ex-husband again.
‘I pray we can eventually be friends and not have animosity between us,’ she admitted.
