Audience ERUPTS as Farage SILENCES Soubry in heated BBC QT row – ‘You NEVER listen’

The Change UK politician hit out at the Brexit Party leader while he explained his favoured Brexit deal. Ms Soubry accused him of presenting “lies and spin” to the audience.  The pair fought to such an extent host Fiona Bruce had to intervene.

Ms Soubry said: “These are the lies and the spin. Nigel Farage was criticising the return of our customs union and regulatory alignment.

“In 2015, he was arguing for exactly the same thing saying that we could leave the EU just like Norway had done.

“In the referendum people like Nigel said we would get a deal.

“We were told we wouldn’t leave until a deal had been done. That’s what we were promised.”

While Mr Farage hit out at her claims and accused Ms Soubry of not listening.

He said: “What are you talking about? I said no deal was better than a bad deal, Anna.

“I argued that all through the referendum day after day.

“You clearly weren’t listening, you never do, do you?”

To which Ms Soubry said, “I am” as the audience applauded Mr Farage.

Fiona Bruce interjected their argument to say the politicians were “better than that”.

Ms Bruce said: “You’re talking about the toxicity of the debate.

“Talking like this is exactly what we’re talking about.

“We can be better than that.”
