Atlanta FaZe to compete in Call of Duty League


Atlanta FaZe has been announced for the upcoming franchised Call of Duty League.

Owned by Atlanta Esports Ventures, and in partnership with iconic Call of Duty team FaZe Clan, the franchise’s name, logo, and colours have been unveiled.

As explained on the Call of Duty League website, Atlanta FaZe is a result of a “deep-seated partnership” between Atlanta Esports Ventures and FaZe Clan. The franchise’s colours and black, red, and white, and its logo is a combination of ‘A’ and ‘F’.

The franchise has signed McArthur “Cellium” Jovel, Preston “Priestahh” Greiner, Tyler “aBeZy” Pharris, Chris “Simp” Lehr, and Michael “MajorManiak” Szymaniak to its roster. James “Crowder” Crowder, Richard “RJ” Simoncelli, and Austin “Easy Mac” O’Neil are the head coach, assistant coach, and analyst for the team, respectively.

Franchises that have been confirmed at the time of writing include London Royal RavensDallas EmpireLos Angeles GuerrillasNew York SublinersOpTic Gaming Los Angeles, and Toronto Ultra.

Franchises yet to be revealed are as follows: NRG Esports’ Chicago, Misfits Gaming’s Florida, WISE Ventures’ Minnesota, c0ntact Gaming’s Paris, and Enthusiast Gaming’s Seattle.

Esports Insider says: We knew it was coming but it’s still somewhat surprising to see, especially considering Atlanta Esports Ventures owns the slot and not FaZe Clan. We’d love to know what the exact terms of this partnership are.
