Ashley James has revealed she is pregnant.

The former Made In Chelsea star, 33, is expecting her first child with boyfriend Tom Andrews and the couple have shared their exciting news in a new interview.

Taking to Instagram, Ashley gave fans a first look at her baby bump as she revealed she was ‘beyond excited and nervous’ to finally go public with her pregnancy.

Sharing a photo from her shoot with Tom for Hello! magazine, Ashley told fans: ‘I’m beyond excited / nervous to finally be able to share our incredibly happy news with you all – especially given I’m an open book who HATES keeping secrets.

‘I’ve put the link in my bio so you can read more, and make sure you grab a copy of @hellomag which is on sale from tomorrow for our full story and shoot we did in France.’

Speaking to the publication from Tom’s parents’ house in France, Ashley – who was single for six years before finding love with Tom in October last year – said her pregnancy feels ‘so right’.

She revealed: ‘From the moment I found out, it felt so right.’

Reflecting on her life changing completely in a matter of months, Ashley said: ‘It’s been such a 360-degree shift for me.

‘I’ve never been that maternal,’ she explained. ‘When friends have been like, “I want to meet someone, settle down and have children,” I never felt the same, I guess I’ve been a free spirit.’

Tom added that he is ‘over the moon’ to be having a baby with the reality star.

He and Ashley first met 10 years ago at work and reunited last year, with romance soon developing between the pair.

Fans best know Ashley, who previously dated Ollie Locke, for appearing on E4 reality series Made In Chelsea. Since then, she has become a DJ and influencer and is famed for advocating body positivity among her fans.

Her pregnancy news comes after Ashley was seen opening up about what being single had taught her.

In a candid Instagram post, she told fans: ‘I know, I know, I talk about it all the time, I was single for 6 years! Yet, I experienced so many highs and lows, and went on such a journey that I’m now passionate about sharing the lessons I wish I’d learnt sooner. I want to help find happiness in single status, or have the courage to leave toxic relationships knowing that being single is not as bad as society would have us believe.

‘Being on my own for so long and the adventures and self love I picked up on the way enabled me to attract the first truly healthy relationship I’ve had. It’s Drama free. I used to depend on someone else for my happiness, which meant I needed control so I’d be jealous or play games – or allow others to do that with me.

‘I don’t NEED a relationship for my happiness, which means it’s an independent relationship. We don’t hold each other back or stop each other from seeing friends and having a life without the other.’

Ashley added: ‘ I realised I’m whole on my own, so don’t need or desire to be someone’s ‘other’ or ‘better’ half. I don’t need saving.’
