But the excitement appears to have already worn off for Ashley James as she declared the festival ‘isn’t fun anymore’ in an Instagram snap posted to her account in the early hours of Monday morning.

The former Made In Chelsea star, 32, posed up a storm as she soaked up the sun in Indio, California, in a neon green bikini – just hours after declaring the annual music event ‘magical’ in a separate post.

The reality TV personality urged her followers not to ‘@’ her following her bold statement.

Ashley wrote: ‘Unpopular opinion: Coachella isn’t fun anymore. Don’t @ me.’

The model and DJ posed in front of a wall of flowers at her hotel, and had her blonde locks in loose waves, while her make-up was applied to perfection.

The comment may well have been steeped in sarcasm as just hours before, Ashley told her followers how much she was ‘loving’ her experience.

Alongside a picture of herself in a black crochet co-ord, she wrote: ‘Coachella nights. I know this festival can be an Instagram cliché but I just love it.

‘The settings are so magical, I love people watching and seeing all the outfits people put together, and they always have the greatest music.

‘This year’s lineup MIGHT not be as good as normal (I mean, there’s no Kendrick or Beyonce) but I’ve got to see some sick artists I wouldn’t normally think to see. Highlights from yesterday are J Balvin and Idris Elba! Life is about what you make it!’

Ashley continued to document her time at the fashionable event with several other posts and Instagram stories.

Ashley recently celebrated being single with a lengthy Instagram post.

She wrote: ‘Happily single.  A friend of mine had her heartbroken this week and she asked me how I’m so happy single.

‘And honestly I think it’s because I’ve stopped seeing it as a bad thing, and have stopped allowing people to pity or patronize me for it.

‘Your relationship status can change all the time, it’s not necessarily a good or a bad thing: it’s just a thing that happens. The time alone has allowed me to really learn and love myself, and also love and invest in my friendships.

‘You’re made to feel like there’s something lacking but love is literally all around you and you can do pretty fun things with your friends if you give them the same energy.

‘Plus, I’ve set some ground rules. Being single does not mean I shouldn’t be treated as an adult entitled to the same independence as my friends in relationships. No I don’t want to sleep in a child’s room or on your sofa.

‘No I don’t want to share a bed, or be set up with your creepy cousin. I’ll get a hotel or not come at all. If you want to ask me personal questions about my relationship status and happiness, I will ask you equally as encroaching questions about yours.’

‘I’ve only learnt all this in the last few months. I used to think people were lying if they didn’t actively want / need someone else. But honestly, once you realise being single is fabulous, you’ll start to date people who are actually good for you.

The Celebrity Big Brother star added: ‘And speak up and walk away quicker if they’re less than up to standard, because you’re perfectly fine without them.’
