Arsenal vs Tottenham LIVE: Team news, live stream, TV channel, kick-off time for TODAY’S North London derby

ARSENAL could start Nicolas Pepe, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette in the North London derby.

Unai Emery has been slated by fans and pundits, including Ian Wright, alike for not starting his star trio together – with Lacazette on the bench for the 3-1 loss against Liverpool.

After the Anfield defeat, Wrighty roared: “It was one of the things that I was baffled by.

“Before the game, I was hoping to see Lacazette, Pepe and Aubameyang as I believe that Liverpool playing with a high line were there for the taking and I was really excited about that.

“I would rather we just go there with potency that we have and show them this is what Arsenal are about now.”

Now, Gunners chief Emery may unleash the terrifying threesome on one of the biggest stages: The North London derby.

He hinted at such a move in his pre-match press conference.

When quizzed about the possibility, the Spaniard said: “Yes [they could all start], but be calm.

“My decision in each moment is thinking about how we are.

“For example with Lacazette he had a problem with his ankle. This week is the best week of the last three weeks. He’s getting better and feeling better with his ankle, it’s very positive.

“With Pepe, he came here later than the others but he is getting and feeling better in each match.

“Aubameyang is very important for us, he scores two goals in the first two matches, he had two or three good actions in Liverpool.”

RE-KOL?

And Sead Kolasinac’s return to the team could be hastened by Nacho Monreal’s move to Real Sociedad.

The Spaniard had been filling in at right-back while Kolasinac recovered from the trauma of being attacked by a moped gang with Mesut Ozil.

David Luiz is expected to keep his place alongside Sokratis Papastathopoulos despite his double-blunder against the Reds.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles will continue to deputise in Hector Bellerin’s absence, with Dani Ceballos, Lucas Torreira and Granit Xhaka forming a well-rounded midfield.

Arsenal will be hoping to take advantage of an out-of-form Spurs team who’ve picked up just 15 points from their last 15 games – most-recently losing 1-0 at home to Newcastle.

Granit Xhaka may be required to fill in at left-back

But should Kolasinac not be ready to return, Arsenal will need a stand-in left-back as new signing Kieran Tierney remains on the treatment table.

That could come in the shape of Granit Xhaka, with Matteo Guendouzi coming into the midfield.
