Aouar’s head ‘already in London’
Aouar has been linked strongly to Arsenal in recent weeks and, now, beIN SPORTS presenter and commentator Hafid Derradji has claimed the player’s head is already in London.
Derradji tweeted: “Houssem Aouar is London in the head, a little effort from both clubs and the transfer will materialize.”
Arsenal have already had one bid for the 22-year-old rejected.
But they’re poised to return with a fresh offer for the midfielder, with the Gunners prepared to offer £45m plus add-ons.
It’s previously been reported that Arsenal have already agreed personal terms with Aouar, who starred as Lyon reached the semi-finals of the Champions League last term.

Aubameyang snubbed Barcelona
Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has confirmed he rejected advances from Barcelona before signing a contract extension in north London.
“There were several offers, notably from Barca, but also other clubs,” he said on Canal Football Club.
“My priority was to stay for two reasons: the first is the coach, Mikel Arteta, because we spoke a fair amount during the ‘lockdown’, as they say here, we were at home and spoke several times and he convinced me, notably in terms of the project.
“Of course, secondly, is the love that I receive from the fans and people at the club.
“Since I have been here I have been treated like one of their own, and as I am one of their own, I am going to stay here, it is as simple as that.”
