Three-way James Rodriguez fight

Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal are interested in signing Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez.

That’s according to the Mirror, who claim Bayern Munich have opted NOT to make his two-year loan spell permanent.

The Colombia international, who is reportedly worth £37million, will return to Real Madrid.

The report says Rodriguez is expected to be sold by Zinedine Zidane, who will use the the funds to rebuild his ailing squad.

Danny Loader to Arsenal

Arsenal are monitoring Reading’s teenage striker Danny Loader.

That’s according to Goal, who claim Chelsea, Wolves and Leicester are also interested in the 18-year-old.

Loader, an England Under-19 international, has entered the final year of his contract and hasn’t agreed fresh terms with the Championship club.

It’s believed a fee in the region of £3million would be enough for Reading to part with their bright young talent.

Arsene Wenger update

Arsene Wenger wants to return to football soon but says he is at a crossroads and is not sure if he should take up another role as manager.

Wenger left Arsenal at the end of the 2017-18 season after 22 years in charge of the London club where he won three Premier League titles and a record seven FA Cups.

The 69-year-old has kept himself busy as a television pundit and conference speaker since leaving the Gunners and said in October that he had received offers to return to football from all over the world.

“You will see me again in football. As a manager… I don’t know,” Wenger said. “I thought I would come back into management very quickly but I enjoyed taking a little distance. Now I’m at a crossroads.

“Football is still my passion. I’ll come back soon, but I cannot tell you exactly in what capacity.”
