Arsenal transfer blow as Eduardo Camavinga ‘prefers’ Real Madrid and will snub Premier League for Bernabeu

Camavinga has made 24 appearances so far this season and has already earned a cap for France’s U21s.

Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund are all said to be keen.

But Arsenal are understood to be leading the charge for Camavinga along with Real Madrid.

Mikel Arteta is ready to turf out a number of players this summer and replace them with hard-working youngsters who are ready to give their all to his cause.

Camavinga fits the bill and Arsenal are hopeful of getting a deal done.

But it has now emerged that the teenager would choose Real Madrid over Arsenal if given the choice.

Zinedine Zidane is understood to be a long-time admirer and has already handed a chance to young playmaker Federico Valverde this term.

He apparently sees Camavinga as the long-term successor Casemiro.

And the idea would eventually be to play Camavinga alongside Valverde with Brazilian youngster Reinier in the No10 role.

Camavinga would apparently jump at the chance to become a Los Blancos star.

And Arsenal will be hoping Real end up going elsewhere in their search for a new young midfielder.
