ARSENAL fans are already desperate for their third kit to be unveiled following the positive reaction from their new Adidas home and away strips.

The Gunners released their bruised banana-inspired yellow jersey yesterday with a brilliant advert featuring Reiss Nelson and Ian Wright.

Fans have loved Adidas’ designs for this seasons shirts, with supporters keen to know when they can snap up the third kit ahead of the new season.

When does the third kit come out?

Arsenal have announced that the launch of their third kit will be on Sunday, August 18.

It had been predicted to be available prior to the Gunners’ Premier League opener against Newcastle United – but instead will be available to purchase via the club or at Adidas a day after the first home game of the season.

What pictures of the third kit have been released online?

Leaked images online show the third kit to be navy and gold – reminiscent of the club’s third-choice strip between 2000-2002.

A number of Twitter accounts have released the rumoured shirt, which shows three gold stripes running along the shoulders.

All the logos are in gold, with the kit featuring black shorts and navy and gold socks.

But now official pictures have been released with the launch, proving the leaks were correct.

How much is Arsenal’s kit deal with Adidas?

Arsenal agreed a deal with Adidas in October for the following season – putting an end to their five-year partnership with Puma.

It is understood that the Gunners have agreed a £300million, six-year deal with the German company.

How much with the third kit cost?

The standard short-sleeve third kit will likely be priced at £60 – the same value as the current home and away tops.

A long-sleeve version will set you back £65, while an authentic home shirt will cost £100.
