Arsenal provide update on match tickets and hospitality for cancelled games


Arsenal has assured fans that all purchased match tickets and hospitality will be valid for rearranged fixtures once they are confirmed.

The Premier League initially suspended all fixtures until April 4 to help control the spread of the coronavirus. This was extended on Thursday until April 30.

Fans of every club are in limbo in regards to whether they will get to enjoy the matches they have shelled out money to watch.

But in an update to fans, Arsenal have assured supporters they will not be out of pocket, despite the uncertainty surrounding the remainder of the season.

“We will update as soon as we know what’s happening with the fixture schedule,” an Arsenal statement read.

“Understandably, we have received many questions from fans regarding ticketing for forthcoming matches.

“Please be assured that all match tickets and purchased hospitality will be valid for rearranged fixtures once they are confirmed.

“Information about renewals for next season will be updated as soon as there is more clarity on when the current 2019/20 season will end.”

Gunners manager Mikel Arteta was the first high-profile manager to contract COVID-19, and immediately went into self-isolation.

Arsenal confirmed on Thursday he is recovering well.

“We’re pleased to say that Mikel is feeling much better,” the Arsenal statement read.

“He’s in good spirits, doing detailed planning with the coaches and speaking to the players regularly.

“All our players are looking forward to getting back out on the training pitches as soon as the situation allows.”
