Arsenal have £70million available to spend on Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha, reports say.
Unai Emery is desperate to sign Zaha and Palace turned down a £40m bid from the Gunners.
Palace were furious with Arsenal’s offer, as they value Zaha closer to £80m.
Despite reports Arsenal have a £45m transfer budget this summer, Sky Sports claim Emery has £70m at his disposal to spend on Zaha.
The 26-year-old wants to join Arsenal and has asked Palace to come to terms with the club he supported as a youngster.
According to Zaha’s brother, the Ivory Coast international’s dream is to play for Arsenal in Europe.
Palace though have reservations about selling Zaha and Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the same window.
Manchester United signed Wan-Bissaka for a reported £50m and Palace are reluctant to sell their most influential attacker alongside their best young talent.
As a result, Palace will only entertain selling Zaha if their asking price is met.
Talks are further complicated by the fact United will take a portion of the transfer fee after inserting a sell-on clause in the deal that saw Zaha rejoin Palace in 2015.
