Few Arsenal fans expected Serge Gnabry to become the superstar that he is today but that doesn’t make it any easier to see German tearing it up at Bayern Munich.

The winger left the Emirates for Werder Bremen in 2016 after failing to impress on a loan spell with West Brom, where he was dropped by Tony Pulis for being overweight.

However, Gnabry’s career has gone from strength to strength since leaving the Gunners and he was snapped up by Bayern Munich in 2018.

The German’s bagged 31 goals in 75 appearances for the Bundesliga giants and he scored four goals earlier this season against Arsenal’s rivals Tottenham in the Champions League.

Gnabry declared that ‘North London is Red’ after the match and he’s continued his love affair with his former club by wearing Arsenal’s latest strip during a Bayern Munich video call today.

All players are, of course, in self-isolation and therefore have to train alone in their houses until it is safe to continue with the season again.

But that didn’t stop hopeful Gooners begging Gnabry to return to the club.
