Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta mocking Harry Kane gives Tottenham forward perfect ammunition

Aubameyang went on to score twice in the FA Cup final that year, as Arsenal beat Chelsea 2-1 to lift their first trophy since the Gabonese forward joined the club, whereas Kane is still yet to win any silverware during his career.

Kane is one of the world’s finest forwards and Arteta may live to regret his words, no matter how innocent they might have been, as the Englishman is the all-time leading goal scorer in the north London derby with 11 goals.

The England captain looked set to join Manchester City this summer after an opening bid of £100million was made but the move never materialised, with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy insisting that his star player was not for sale.

It is still a possibility that Kane could leave next summer, as the forward will have only two years remaining on his current deal from the start of next season and his value is therefore only likely to decline.
