Arsenal boss Unai Emery has pleaded with Gunners fans to connect with the players, knowing he’s fighting to save his job at the Emirates.

“I know some teams come here and are fearless against us and we need to be strong for our supporters but first we need to reconnect with them,” he said.

“But really, my wish is tomorrow that the supporters and every supporter helps the team because we need them.”

The Spaniard is under increasing pressure in north London with an ever-rising number of the club’s fanbase keen for him to be sacked.

Arsenal are winless in their last six matches across all competitions since a late comeback against Vitoria oon December 24. Their last domestic victory came on October 6, against Bournemouth.

Arsenal will qualify for the last 32 of the Europa League if they can secure a point against their German opponents tonight.

They will have to do it without without Dani Ceballos as the midfielder recovers from a hamstring injury.

Arsenal won the first match between the two 3-0 thanks to goals from Joe Willock, Bukayo Saka and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

And all three start again tonight, as Emery seeks a much-needed three points.
