Arnold Schwarzenegger has showered his son with love as he celebrated Christopher’s 22nd birthday.

The Hollywood giant took to Instagram where he shared a string of photos of himself alongside his bambino.

And while one was a recent snap of the father and son duo posing up a storm in the snow, while dressed in a fur coat and hat, the others were pictures of the pair taken throughout the ages.

In the caption, the proud dad wrote: ‘Happy birthday Christopher, you are such a jewel.

‘I have loved every minute of watching you grow up, you make me so proud every day and I can’t wait to see what you become. I love you!’

Fans were quick to comment and couldn’t help but praise the father-of-five for his parenting skills.

‘Christopher !!! You’re so lucky to have such a father,’ one wrote while another added: ‘The respect I have for Arnold for loving his kids no matter what .’

Someone else reminisced and said: ‘Aww I remember some of those pics! Happy Birthday Christopher!’

It seems the 72-year-old is in the celebratory mood, as just last week he wished Christopher’s big bro Patrick a happy birthday too.

‘Happy Birthday, @patrickschwarzenegger,’ he wrote next to a baby picture of the birthday boy.

‘It has been such a pleasure watching you grow as an actor, a businessman, and a person over the last 26 years,’ Arnie added.

‘You are a true go-getter, I love to watch you hustle, and I hope you have a fantastic day. I love you.’

Arnie has five children in total including Joseph Baena, 21, who he shares with Mildred Patricia Baena, as well as 29-year-old daughter Katherine, Christina, 28, and Patrick, 26, with Maria Shriver.

The star shares a close relationship with his children, pairing up with actor son Patrick in May for an interview.

In it, they told GQ about their bond, as Arnie said: ‘My vision was to create great kids. What I’m proud of is that I could kind of show him the way and he knew that he has all the help in the world from me all the time but that he had to do the work also.’

Patrick added: ‘My dad has always taught us kids … follow your passion, what you love. And if you follow those things then ultimately you’re going to be successful.’
