We love a celebrity friendship and it seems Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jackie Chan share a close one.

The two stars only recently worked on action film Journey To China: The Mystery Of Iron Mask and it seems the pair have forged a solid bromance from it.

Judging by Arnie’s sweet tribute to his action star pal, the Terminator star posed alongside martial arts legend Jackie this week.

Sharing the sweet picture to Instagram, Arnold, 72, and Jackie, 65, were seen beaming for the camera on Saturday.

Hailing Jackie an inspiration, Arnold wrote: ‘It was fantastic to run into my old friend and a hero of mine @jackiechan when I got back from the #terminatordarkfate world tour. A legend and an inspiration.’

Likewise Jackie was feeling the love as he shared the same image to social media.

‘So happy to run into my good old friend and legend @schwarzenegger,’ he penned, as fans loved the snapshot.

‘Just a couple of game changers,’ one fan mused, as another added: ‘Legends of LIFE.’

True fact.

The pair looked worlds away from their action hero selves, as they dressed casually for the get together; Arnold in a blue t-shirt and Jackie in a grey hoodie.

Arnold has returned to his Terminator roots for the latest film, Dark Fate, which sees him play iconic robot T-800. Speaking to Metro.co.uk recently, Arnie made it sound like a walk in the park when he revealed his training regime.

‘I train every day. I ride bikes every day, I ski, I still do a lot of sports, so for me it’s a little more normal that I’ll come in and do my action movies that I’m ready and in shape,’ the action stalwart said.

‘When someone comes in who hasn’t done it for a while, like Linda, it’s more unusual,’ he continued.

‘I always love it. In this movie the director was very demanding and he demanded a lot of action and a lot of work and we worked for hours and hours – yes even I got sore myself from all the reps.’

Terminator: Dark Fate is in cinemas now.
