Armed suspect steals video games – The Turlock Journal

A man hoping to make some extra money by selling some video
games on a popular online selling site, was instead the victim of an armed
robbery.

The robbery was reported shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday.

The victim was using OfferUp to sell some video games and
agreed to meet his buyer in the 3000 block of Geer Road.

At the scene, the victim was met by two Hispanic male
adults. The men took the video games from him and were attempting to leave
without exchanging any cash, said Turlock Police spokesman Sgt. Russ Holeman.

The victim made an attempt to get his video games back, but
one of the robbers pulled out a gun and threatened him with it, Holeman said.

The suspects fled the area in a white extended cab pickup
truck.
