Arlo Parks has promised fans her follow-up to hit debut album Collapsed In Sunbeams won’t just be ‘filler’ tracks — as she revealed her dream collab.

After her Brits victory, the Eugene singer is a long way from the self-doubt she had to overcome to be a break-out star.

On what comes next, the 20-year-old told GP: ‘I’m just writing. I’m reluctant to do the filler from album tracks thing.

‘I feel that each project that I put out is its own little chapter so I am kind of just working on new stuff.’

And she’d love to work with Solange Knowles — but they’d need to be pals. Arlo shared: ‘I rarely connect with someone just to make music. It’s usually to cultivate a friendship. I’d love to work with Solange, I think that would be really cool. I haven’t been chatting to her, just to clarify.’

As for how it was to land at the top of the music business, the singer confessed she had to ‘overcome my own self-doubt’.

‘I think a lot of artists struggle with that,’ she said.

‘I didn’t have anyone who did music in my family… everyone is telling me not to because it’s probably not going to happen.

‘To put that all to one side and follow my vision and intuition, that was the hardest thing.’ And her reward is the way her tunes have affected fans.

‘I have had a lot of people say my music has helped them heal from grief, having lost someone to Covid,’ Arlo added. ‘To soothe in people’s darkest moments is really important.’

Queen star Adam Lambert has blasted some in the gay community for not stepping up to bat for trans people.

The Ghost Town singer urged people to support those in ‘our own community that are under attack’.

‘When I hear stories of gay men in particular being really anti-trans, I’m like, “What the f*** is wrong with you?”,’ the US pop sensation said.

‘Yes we’re not all the same thing but this is a community. The idea of community is more important than ever.’

Posing in all black, he told Gay Times: ‘This is a group within our own community that are under attack and that need to be at the front of the line and need our support.’

Lambert, 39, also applauded Montero singer Lil Nas X for being true to himself after he topped the charts with a demon-themed homoerotic video.

‘He’s completely saying, “Take it or leave it”,’ Lambert said. ‘To me, what it was for the longest time was, “I can identify as gay but I can’t show it”. Not on a mainstream level. What Lil Nas X is doing is, “I’m identifying, I’m showing it, I’m talking about it as honestly as I would with my friends at a club”. I think it’s so good and so real.’

Friends star Lisa Kudrow isn’t interested in living her life in the spotlight.

The actress, 57, shot to fame as Phoebe Buffay in the ’90s hit — but said, while acting is ‘fulfilling’, being a celeb is ‘completely different’.

She told OK! magazine: ‘When Friends first took off, I thought it was my job to be a celebrity. I really hated it but I realised that one thing has nothing to do with the other.’

Bunton added: ‘It’s been a very weird time. I’m a very mumsy person — when I see my friends’ babies, I always become broody. But now I thought, “OK, this is it”.’
