Ariana Grande takes down troll who accused her of using auto-tuning in live show

Ariana Grande hit back at a troll who questioned her ability to sing live – and even accused her of using auto-tuning.

The 26-year-old Grammy Award winning singer was backed by a host of celebrity friends after she took the troll to task.

The singer is often lauded for her ability to give a lung-busting performance but after she posted a video of one such moment, there was a dissenting voice among the ranks who didn’t believe she could naturally hold a note for such a long time.

While most fans who commented on the post were full of praise for the 7 Rings singer, there was one who scoffed at Ariana.

They wrote: “It sounds like auto-tune and probably not live.

“I mean you are a great singer and I love your voice and songs but this doesn’t sound live.”

This pricked Ariana’s conscience and she was quick to hit back at the dissenter and she didn’t hold back with her response.

Ariana took down a troll much to many people’s delight

Ariana wrote: “Naw with all due respect, i could do this in your living room for you, fam. with no sound mixing or help at all. i could do it on broadway (and did). i can do it in the shower. in the car. its my gift / it’s why I’m her. i sing 30+ songs a night. every word. its my thing. let me shine damn.”

Take that, troll.

The American pop star took to Instagam to hit back at the dissenter

It wasn’t long before her friends from the world of celebrity were hailing the cutting comeback.

Singer Rita Ora responded to the comment with fire emojis and hearts, while Charlie Puth joined in by commenting: “you are insane.”

American actress Kristin Chenoweth also exclaimed about Ariana’s response, writing: “omg wow!!! Babygirl!!!”

The troll decided not to respond.
