Ariana Grande has been forced to pull out of two concerts after getting ill.

The 7 Rings star confirmed the news on Instagram, telling her 156million followers she is ‘beyond devastated’ to take a step back her Sweetener tour – postponing shows in Tampa and Orlando.

‘I woke up incredibly sick today, ran to my doctor here and have been told to postpone these shows tonight and tomorrow,’ the 25-year-old wrote.

‘I’m so beyond devastated.

‘I will make this up to you, I promise. Please forgive me. I love you and I will be back and better than ever as soon as possible. Love you.’

She also insisted she would be back to perform for those who missed out, adding: ‘Will keep you posted as soon as possible on exact dates but we will be returning in November and you will be able to use the tickets you’ve already purchased.

‘Thank you so much for your understanding.’

While Ari didn’t reveal exactly what was wrong with her, Live Nation confirmed she would be taking to the stage in Miami later this week.

The Thank U, Next singer recently opened up about performing her music for fans, admitting it felt like ‘hell’.

After a fan told her: ‘Music is your therapy and I love seeing it heal you,’ she hit back in a now deleted-tweet: ‘Making it is healing.

‘Performing it is like reliving it all over again and it is hell.’

And, when questioned by another fan if touring was good for her health, she said: ‘I don’t think it is.’
