Apple’s latest venture seems to have landed early with multiple users confirming that they have downloaded Apple Arcade.

Apple Arcade was not meant to have been launched until the 19 September, but if you download the latest iOS 13 beta on your iPhone, you might be able to install it three days early.

Some users are saying that beta is unnecessary and it has appeared for them on the App Store alone, so no harm in having a look before you start fiddling with the update. Another thing to note is Apple Arcade will only run on your iPhone; the beta is not available for your Apple TV or anything just yet.

Some people are saying you don’t even have to have the latest Apple phone to run the games well, that the loading times aren’t wonderful but give it time and they run surprisingly well.

‘iPhone 6s running iOS 13 public beta (whatever’s latest). They’re a bit slow to load, but once you get into the game, they run pretty good. The few I’ve tried. 6s is the oldest supported iPhone, by the way,’ according to a user on Reddit.

Apple Arcade is the latest subscription service to jump on the gaming bandwagon. It’s coming to your iPhones, iPads. MacBook computers and even Apple TV for the monthly cost of £4.99.

Apple has decided to take the Netflix approach, by letting gamers pay a monthly subscription and giving them access to video gaming content that isn’t available anywhere else.
