Anthoine Hubert dead: F2 racing driver dies aged 22 in horror crash at Belgian Grand Prix

Racing prodigy Anthoine Hubert has died aged 22 following a horror crash in the feature F2 race at the Belgian Grand Prix.

A devastating high-speed crash took place as Hubert’s car collided with that of Juan Manuel Correa, 20. Both cars almost disintegrated in the shocking collision.

The race was abandoned after marshals attended to the scene but there was no immediate update on the conditions of either of the drivers involved.

The crash occurred on the exit of Eau Rouge at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium, as Hubert and Correra came together.

Hubert’s car went into the barrier and spun back off into the direction of Correra’s car, who was launched into the air by the impact.
