Ant McPartlin earned £3million last year – despite taking months off

Ant McPartlin reportedly raked in £3million last year, despite spending the majority of his time off TV.

Ant’s fortune rose from £16.3million to £19.3million, even though the Geordie star was absent from the final Saturday Night Takeaway shows and the Britain’s Got Talent final shows.

Newly-filed accounts from his company Teecourt Limited, obtained by the Mirror, cover the star’s earnings from June 2017 to June 2018.

Ant, 43, took a break from his filming commitments after he admitted to drink-driving following a three-car crash in March last year.

Ant’s wealth includes investments, which rose by £500,000 to a staggering £11.5million.

Cash reserves in the business went from £6.7million to £9.3million.

But after money owed was deducted he was left with £19.3million.

A business that Ant and Dec run together, Hurley Productions, has risen in value by £300,000 to £4.4million.

The beloved Geordie duo will be back on TV screens together next weekend for the new series of BGT.

Ant and Dec, 43, began filming the auditions stage in January this year.

The pair join celebrity judges Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, David Walliams and Simon Cowell.

A video of Ant and Dec reuniting on the BGT stage melted the hearts of their fans on social media.

Ant, who was visibly emotional in the clip, hugged Dec and said: “Oh God, I’m really emotional now.

“I’ve missed you all. What a great show to come back to, let’s move on before I cry!

“It’s good to be back.”
