It was revealed Ant’s great-great grandfather was a part of, and that he was a war hero.
As the pair travelled to meet a pub in Drumkeeran, County Leitrimfull of relations to Ant, it was Dec that was left emotional.
One of the guests in the pub, Mary, sang a song which Dec revealed he “loved”, but that it had been sung as his dad’s funeral, hence his tears.
