Ant and Dec Saturday Night Takeaway fans rage over 'infect humans' joke

During tonight’s instalment of Saturday Night Takeaway, some viewers were left less than impressed by an “insensitive” joke made during a sketch.

It was the final part of Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly’s Men in Brown comedy skit.

Taking on the evil baddie in the comedy sketch was Great British Bake Off’s Paul Hollywood.

But while viewers found the segment humorous, some Ant and Dec fans were left less-than-impressed by a joke made in the comedy sketch.

Paul Hollywood’s character said: “Infect the humans,” with some people feeling this was insensitive in light of the coronavirus pandemic.

Viewers took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
