ANT and Dec fans have started a campaign to get the Geordie duo their own TV show – where they tour the UK in the back of car.
The telly stars appeared in their own documentary, Ant and Dec’s DNA Journey, this week and were seen travelling around together as they traced their ancestry.
The two-part show, which aired on ITV, was a huge success and viewers particularly enjoyed the scenes of the lads chatting together in their car.
As a result, some fans have called for a spin-off series, which would see Ant and Dec travelling around the country on a roadtrip.
Taking to Twitter, one wrote: “Can @antanddec please make a show where they go on a roadtrip together, I love their car journeys, absolute quality content #DNAjourney #AntAndDecsDNAJourney.”
Another replied: “I would watch that!!”
A third added: “The banter between @antanddec in the car is brilliant #DNAjourney.”
Others have even suggested the show could be like James Corden’s hugely successful mini series, Carpool Karaoke.
Brit comic James has interviewed dozens of A-list stars while driving around Los Angeles – and fans think Ant and Dec should revert back to their 90s characters, PJ and Duncan, to do it.
Tweeting Ant and Dec directly, one said: “@antanddec please?!? It could be with carpool karaoke to PJ and Duncan.”
Another added: “Pj and duncan carpool karaoke!”
Ant and Dec’s DNA Journey aired over two nights and it was an emotional rollercoaster for fans.
Along with scenes of banter between the pair in the car, viewers were left in tears after both presenters met members of their long lost family.
Ant, 43, also spoke openly about his stint in rehab last year, before a surprise twist at the end revealed he and 44-year-old Dec are distantly related.
The lads were told in the final episode of the show that they both carry the S660 DNA marker.
The bombshell revelation had a deep impact on the presenting pair, with Ant admitting: “We’re friends, we’ve got that brotherly connection. But it feels even deeper.
“Doing this show has made us look at each other in a different way. He means the world to me.”
