Ant and Dec censor Pussycat Dolls’ raunchy performance on Saturday Night Takeaway

ANT and Dec decided to censor the Pussycat Doll’s  raunchy performance on last night’s Saturday Night Takeaway.

The presenters asked the singers to “tone down” their risque style for their “family friendly” show, after  their comeback performance during the final of X Factor: Celebrity received 802 complaints over its sexualised content.

However, the five-piece ignored their request and in hilarious the flustered pair attempt to use signs and a “censor button” to stop the show failed.

As the recently reunited band took to the stage in revealing black ensembles, Ant and Dec watched from the audience, but as soon as they started gyrating, they headed down to try and put a halt on it.

At one point they even put up a fake sign saying ‘Sorry for the disruption’ but the group just ripped right through it.

As the girls moved across the studio, Ant and Dec removed their suit jackets and tried to place them on Nicole Scherzinger and Kimberly Wyatt.

When that failed, the cheeky hosts started taking off their shirts as the audience cheered, before Dec got down on the floor so Ant could pull his trousers off over his shoes.

Both presenters wore white vests and striped boxer shorts, with sock garters around their calves.

They then tried and failed to put their clothing on the Dolls before Nicole told them their outfits weren’t family friendly.

Ant and Dec’s show returned to TV last night after a two-year break.

The programme last aired in 2018 and a new series has not been broadcast since McPartlin was arrested for drink driving in March of that year.

Neither mentioned Ant’s time away from the spotlight as they kicked off the show on ITV.

Ant told the live studio audience: “It is so good to be back with a brand new series but we have been very busy since we last did this show.”

Dec added: “We have barely stopped, Ant. We have done I’m A Celebrity, Britain’s Got Talent, we found out we were related. We have moved into this brand new studio.”
