ANOTHER cheating scandal on The Block as Luke accuses Kirsty and Jesse of using 'dirty tactics'

Just when you thought the drama was over, another cheating scandal has erupted on The Block.

On Monday’s explosive episode, Luke Packham accused Kirsty Lee Akers and Jesse Anderson of being ‘greedy’ and using ‘dirty tactics’ over the shared garden budget.

Luke assumed the couple used the majority of the $50,000 budget by preordering plants from sponsor Margaret River Grass Trees, but fell silent when corrected.

With Backyard Week underway and in desperate need of cash, Luke was furious to hear from the sponsor that two teams had already exhausted the $50k budget.

While the sponsor revealed house two (Mitch Edwards and Mark McKie) and house five (Kirsty and Jesse) used up the budget, Luke assumed Kirsty and Jesse were the main culprits.

‘I am p**sed and it’s not Margaret River I’m p**sed off at. They’re a family business, they’ve delivered a big amount of money for everyone to share,’ Luke said in a piece to camera.

‘And number five have not shared that around at all. They’ve been very greedy. I don’t think number five are playing the game fair at all, it’s dirty tactics.’

Before storming off, Luke claimed there wasn’t an even playing field, particularly with Kirsty and Jesse winning Sunday’s Hell Week reveal, despite not revealing to the judges that they hadn’t finished their second hallway.

‘They were dirty with the judges, they didn’t admit to not doing their second hallway, they got around that. They should have been joint last with us and they should have shared around the trees,’ he said.

Not the main culprits: Luke and Josh decided to launch their own investigation and determine which co-stars were greedy with the budget. New evidence came to light that revealed it was in fact Mitch Edwards and Mark McKie who used up the majority of the budget with three trees

Later on in the episode, Luke and Josh decided to launch their own investigation and determine which co-stars were greedy with the budget.

‘We were trying to track down who were the Margaret River tree hogs,’ Josh said in a piece to camera. I’m pretty sure it was house five.’

Luke remarked that it was ‘because of the sheer size’ of their block and due to the fact the sponsor ‘didn’t really deny’ that Kirsty and Jesse preordered the most trees.

However new evidence came to light that revealed it was in fact Mitch and Mark who used up the majority of the budget, purchasing three very expensive dragon trees.

‘We’ve gone to the carpark and seen three whopping big trees on the Margaret River truck for house two,’ Luke said, revealing they were more expensive than the trees Kirsty and Jesse ordered.

‘Yes, we have seen that one house potentially has taken a lion’s share of the Margaret River trees,’ Josh added. ‘House two, Mitch and Mark’s three dragon trees are not just regular dragon trees… they’re f***ing huge! That’s worth a lot of money.’

Surprisingly, Luke decided not to lash out at Mitch and Mark and accuse them of being greedy, instead choosing to stay silent.

‘At the end of the day, I think I’m just going to step away from it and I’m not getting involved,’ he said.

Tension between the contestants first began when Ronnie and Georgia Caceres, who are considered ‘sticklers for rules’, were determined to find out who leaked a photo of the production schedule.

Vito and Tanya Guccione, who claimed to have not taken the photo but shared it with Josh and Luke, all received a penalty from host Scott Cam during basement week.

Tanya and Vito have taken offence to accusations of ‘cheating’, with Vito having stormed off set in a previous episode.

The Block continues Tuesday at 7.30pm on Channel Nine
