Anneka Rice, 60, is one of the celebrities participating in the 17th season of Strictly Come Dancing. The TV and radio presenter, who rose to fame in 1982 on Treasure Hunt with Channel 4, has teamed up with professional dancer Kevin Clifton. The two made their dance floor debut last weekend as they danced Cha Cha Cha to Gloria by Laura Branigan.
In Strictly tradition, no one was sent home this week – but on Saturday, the stars won’t be as lucky.
The first elimination will take place this Sunday – where one of the celebrity and professional couples will face the chop.
In week 2 of the popular dance competition, Anneka will be doing a waltz to Run by Whitney Houston.
But despite Anneka being back in the spotlight, details of her personal life are not well-known.

She was married to theatre boss Nick Allot, with whom she has two sons, but the couple separated in 1992.
However, in a staggering revelation, she revealed that after 22 years, the two had still not divorced.
In an interview with Sebastian Shakespeare for Dailymail in 2014, Anneka and her estranged husband Nick talked about their marital relationship.
Anneka said: “Everyone thinks we’re divorced, but we’re not. It’s no big deal interviewing him because we’re friends.”

Likewise, Nick, who is living with journalist Christa D’Souza said: “I don’t think it’s anyone else’s business why we’ve taken the decision to stay married after all this time.
“Maybe people think it’s weird. We have our reasons. It suits us. We are civilized people.”
In another interview with the Telegraph, Anneka revealed the situation when she was separated with her husband.
She told the publication: “We will get around to divorcing.
“Most people get divorced because they are always arguing about money.
“When Nick and I split up, I was the breadwinner; I was paying the school fees.
“He had a good job so money was never discussed, therefore what is there to argue about?
“We will do it one day, but God knows when.”
After a failed marriage and broken relationship, Anneka has found love again and is in a romantic relationship with writer Simon Bell, whom she started dating in 2005.
It is not known if Anneka and Nick have gotten divorced since the interviews.
