Have you really made it in Hollywood unless you’ve received your very own star on the Walk of Fame?

Anne Hathaway’s star quality has never really been in doubt, but, for anyone requiring any further proof of her talents, the actress has now received her very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

And just in case anyone is counting, Anne was actually the 2663rd recipient of a star.

The Oscar-winner was honoured during a ceremony which saw guest speeches from Awkwafina and director Dee Rees, while Rebel Wilson, Anne’s co-star in the new film The Hustle, was also on hand for the celebrations.

‘This was the wrong day to be jet-lagged,’ Anne joked as she addressed the crowd. ‘To be fair, this was always going to feel like a hallucination.

‘I’m really very moved by every aspect of this,’ the 36-year-old added, before thanking ‘the fans who showed up and gave me their time, and people who’ve been in my life for decades’.

Following her speech, Anne, who was accompanied at the ceremony by her parents and her husband actor Adam Shulman, saw her star be officially dedicated for the first time.

Anyone wishing to go and visit Anne’s star will find it facing the entrance to the TCL Chinese Theatre, a popular Hollywood tourist destination.

Her star has also been positioned next to Hattie McDaniel’s, who became the first African-American Oscar-winner in 1939 for her role in Gone with the Wind.

She’s in very good company, then – congratulations to Anne!
