Anna Wintour has been given yet another new job title at Condé Nast

Anna Wintour’s already big job just became massive.

As part of a move in which Condé Nast set out to form a new global leadership team designed to “accelerate the company’s evolution into a 21st century media company,” yet another position has been added to Wintour’s growing list of duties. In addition to acting as U.S. Artistic Director and Editor-in-Chief of Vogue U.S., Wintour will also become ‘Global Content Advisor.’

The new role makes Wintour responsible for overseeing Vogue’s International Brands and places her in an advisory role to Condé’s other overseas magazines and content opportunities. She will also act “as a resource to editors-in-chief and editorial talent worldwide,” according to Wednesday’s press release.

The news comes following the April announcement by Condé Nast that Roger Lynch had been appointed as global CEO, a newly created role that aims to streamline operations between Condé Nast US and Condé Nast International following their merger in 2018.

“One of my top priorities have been to define our organizational structure so that we can take full advantage of our unique growth opportunities and exceptional content around the world,” said Lynch in a statement. “I’m confident that our new global structure will better enable us to collaborate across teams and markets and, ultimately, deliver unparalleled experiences for our consumers and clients.”

It’s likely that Wintour, who’s reportedly on a salary of $2 million, will no doubt be remunerated commensurately with her expanded remit, which will still also include her side gig of planning the Met Gala and Tony Awards.

Fashion never sleeps, people, fashion never sleeps.
