Anna Kendrick is seen with a fake baby bump while filming the new series Love Life outside the Public Theater in New York City

Anna Kendrick was seen with a baby bump on Friday.

But it was just a prop as the actress was on set in New York City filming a new anthology series called Love Life.

The 34-year-old star looked to be in a serious mood as she touched the fake bump that made her appear at least six months pregnant.

For the scene, Anna was in layers. She had on a beige turtleneck sweater with a loose grey jacket on over it.

While specific plot details for the scenes have yet to be revealed, it was telling that Kendrick’s character was alone, clutching her belly on the street, and also carrying a heavy-looking overflowing bag of groceries.

The Pitch Perfect star also had bangs in one winter scene, and was required to wear a coat with a fur-trimmed hood in spite of New York City’s typical 90 degree and humid weather in August.

For that shoot, Anna was in a cream and striped long sleeved tee, with dark jeans and a pair of Converse sneakers.

The actress and singer is starring in and executive producing the 10-episode half-hour romantic comedy series, as reported earlier this year by Deadline.

The anthology show follows characters from first love to last love.

It looks at how each relationship forms them into who they become when they end up in their forever relationships.

While Anna’s specific character is still a mystery, the actress posted about the show on Friday, with a selfie in-character (complete with the bangs haircut).

She captioned the snap, ‘This is a girl who is going to get her heart broken #LoveLife’

Other than the series, Kendrick is quite busy with a suite of projects, including a sequel to the hit animated musical movie Trolls from 2016.

Her holiday movie Noelle dropped its first trailer last week, and that film is due out before Thanksgiving.

Apart from that, the thespian has no fewer than three additional films in the works.

One is a sci-fi thiller called Stowaway, about  a mission to Mars that goes awry.

Another is called Dummy, about an aspiring writer and her boyfriend’s sex doll, while the third, Unsound, follows a state trooper with hearing loss who is investigating a dangerous criminal.
