Angelina Jolie has shared a rare look at her life at home with her children after posting sweet photos of Zahara and Shiloh doing their homework.
The actress, 46, who recently joined Instagram and pretty much sent the platform into meltdown, posted a couple of pictures of the teens reading at home.
She told her followers: ‘End of #summerreading. These are some of the favourites in our house. Would love to know yours.’
In the snaps, 16-year-old Zahara could be seen reading Toni Morrison’s 1970 novel The Bluest Eye while 15-year-old Shiloh chose The Dark Lady by Akala.
The Maleficent star, who also has Maddox, 19, Pax, 17, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 12, has mostly been using her Instagram account to raise awareness for humanitarian causes.
She joined the platform in August and was claimed to have become the quickest account to amass one million followers on Instagram, surpassing previous records set by stars including Jennifer Aniston.
While the record is not yet verified by Guinness World Records, the Eternals star was said to have gained 1.7m followers in her first hour on the platform, before jumping to 2.1m followers after three hours, according to OK!.
Angelina’s first post was an impassioned message about the crisis in Afghanistan after the Taliban took control of the country as she vowed to ‘continue to look for ways to help’.
Her photos of Zahara and Shiloh are the first time she has posted about her children, and recently spoke out about how she raises socially conscious kids.
She told British Vogue earlier this year: ‘I know this may sound strange, but don’t make it a duty for them to do good or have to give back.
‘If we can help children feel that it’s not about duty or service or charity, but the joy of an interconnected life with people you respect, then it feels very different.’
