Angelina Jolie was in her element this weekend as she enjoyed a sun-kissed beach day with her children and young Eternals co-star Lia McHugh.
The Mr & Mrs Smith actress rounded up the troops and headed to the beach in Dunas de Corralejo in Fuerteventura to take a break from filming the anticipated Marvel movie.
Among the four out of six of Angelina’s children who were seen on the outing, include Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 13, and 11-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, while her Eternals co-star Lia, 12, and Lauren Ridloff, 41, were also pictured.
Lia got on particularly well with Angelina’s children as she was seen chatting away with Shiloh. It seems the group weren’t quite ready for the Canary Islands’ famous winds as they were seen wrapping themselves with large blankets, trying to brave the elements.
Still despite the challenging weather, Angelina, 44, looked to be thoroughly enjoying the much-needed break from filming and could barely wipe the smile from her face.
The Maleficent actress has made sure her kids are getting the most out of their time in Spain, and were seen visiting local discount and grocery stores in Fuerteventura earlier this month.
Clearly even multi-millionaires need a good bargain occasionally.
No doubt the Hollywood star is trying to create happy memories for her brood after admitting they’ve ‘been through a lot’ in recent years due to her split from their dad Brad Pitt.
Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar, Angelina explained: ‘The part of us that is free, wild, open, curious can get shut down by life. By pain or by harm. My children know my true self, and they have helped me to find it again and to embrace it.
‘They have been through a lot. I learn from their strength.’
She added: ‘As parents, we encourage our kids to embrace all that they are, and all that they know in their hearts to be right, and they look back at us and want the same for us.’
