Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt agree upon ‘traditional schooling’ for their children as they move forward with coparenting

More than three years after the end of their two-year marriage, they are still not officially divorced.

But having resolved their protracted custody dispute, it seems Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have taken another step forward in cordially co-parenting their five school-age children.

Pitt, 56, has filed papers in the Los Angeles County Court informing the judge that he and his ex-wife have now made an agreement regarding ‘Education and Transitional Support.’

According to The Blast, which first reported the update, the former spouses have decided upon a more ‘traditional’ form of schooling for their children, five of whom are still under the age of 18.

While oldest son Maddox, 18, is now at college, the decision will cover his siblings Pax, 16, Zahara, 15, Shilo, 13, and 11-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

During the former couple’s 14 years together, the six Jolie-Pitt children were home schooled by nannies and tutors as the family frequently relocated around the world, between their multiple homes and movie sets.

Addressing this in 2017, Angelina, now 44, said: ‘It bothered me how little I was taught in school,’

She said her children’s multicultural backgrounds made them better suited to homeschooling.

‘I do worry about my children’s education. I homeschool partially because they are from around the world and it’s very…I didn’t want them to have the same education I had when it came to Vietnam or Cambodia.’

Brad and Angelina split in 2016, after two years of marriage.

The exes have since reached a custody agreement over their children, but the two – who have been officially declared single by the court – are still finalizing the financial element of their divorce.

During their long relationship they co-mingled their finances, and jointly purchased multiple properties. Brad is thought to be worth around $300million, and Angelina around $100million.
