Andy Whyment tipped to win I'm A Celeb as Jacqueline 'comes second' in finale twist

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! is almost over for another year, and Andy Whyment looks likely to be crowned King of the Jungle.

The Coronation Street actor is competing against EastEnders’ Jacqueline Jossa and radio DJ Roman Kemp in a heated finale tonight.

Though the competition is closer than ever, according to odds from Coral Bookmaker, the Kirk Sutherland star is taking the lead.

Thanks to his down-to-earth personality and infectious good humour, the 38-year-old has been a firm favourite in the camp.

Andy has a two-in-five chance of taking the crown in tonight’s show, beating Jacqueline and Roman to the punch.

The odds are in Andy’s favour in tonight’s finale

Mum-of-two Jacqueline looks likely to come second, while Roman Kemp is en route to third place.

If Andy nabs the top prize, he’ll take over from last year’s winner, sports legend Harry Redknapp.

His Corrie co-stars have been rallying around him to win, urging I’m A Celeb fans to vote for the down-to-earth soap star.

Jacqueline could be beaten to the punch by Andy

Jennie McAlpine, who plays Fiz Brown, said: “Never in doubt. Always been King Kirky to me.”

While Samia Longchambon (Maria Connor) added: “I love Andy with all my heart, he is one of the nicest guys you could ever wish to meet and will forever be my friend. It would be ace if he got crowned King of the I’m A Celeb jungle.”

The past few nights have been heartbreaking for viewers and the campmates alike, as the celebs were evicted one-by-one.

On Friday night, viewers were outraged when both Caitlyn Jenner and Nadine Coyle were axed in a savage double elimination.

Last night, Kate Garraway followed them out the door, running into her husband Derek Draper’s arms after three weeks apart.

Will Andy be crowned the champion in tonight’s shock finale?

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! airs tonight at 9pm on ITV.
