Andy & the Odd Socks get the kids rocking with ‘Who’s In The Odd Socks’


Andy and the Odd Socks are back to rock your children’s socks off with new song Who’s In The Odd Socks.

Children’s TV superstar Andy Day and his band of music geniuses having been keeping the kids entertained during the coronavirus lockdown with their brand new TV show.

And now the band are back with another hit to dance away the isolation blues, with the record aiming to ‘rally everyone together and put a smile on everyone’s face in the current uncertain times’.

Teasing the head-banging tune on Wednesday on Twitter, the group wrote: ‘Brand new song coming this Friday! Who’s in the Odd Socks? It’s guaranteed to get you and the kids rocking out!

‘Grown ups might spot the nod to a certain band from Seattle…. although our version definitely smells a bit more like Odd Socks!!’

Who’s In The Odd Socks? serves as the leading track for the groups hotly anticipated second album and the video gives a nod to one of Seattle’s greatest bands in music history.

Odd Socks frontman Andy Day hopes the new single will bring ‘fun, joy and happiness’ to kids and parents alike during the COVID-19 isolation.

He said: ‘Who’s in the Odd Socks? is all about bringing people together, highlighting the important message that we are not alone, and while we are faced with such uncertainty at this time we felt it was more important than ever to release this song now.

‘This song holds a special place in all our hearts, it encompasses everything the Odd Socks are all about, which is why we decided to make it our album title. We hope it brings as much fun, enjoyment and happiness to kids (and parents!) as it does for us!’

Andy and The Odd Socks are fast becoming one of the UK’s biggest live children’s acts, with the band having played at over 100 shows including Glastonbury, Camp Bestival, Victorious, Big Feastival, Shambala, BBC Summer Social, Standon Calling and many more.

The band also still have their brand new TV show on BBC iPlayer to keep the kids entertained while they wait for the album to drop.

I bet they can’t wait for that!
